My photo editing experience includes identifying, scanning, re-touching, captioning, storing and archiving digital images as well as conventional film and prints.

 

Proficient in image acquisitation i have worked with a variety of photographers, stock agencies and photo desks in Germany to find editorial and creative images - always on deadline.

 

 

In 1997 i started working as a freelance photographer for several clients in Johannesburg, South Africa. Since the year 2007 i worked as a freelance Picture Editor in Berlin. Once set up, I single handedly ran the desk for the McFit Magazine, commissioning photography, dealing with agencies and licensing from picture libraries, always working to tight deadlines. After that, I moved on to work as a freelance picture editor for 11Freunde - Magazine for soccer and culture, Stiftung Warentest "Finanztest" and LOOX Magazin  producing and directing photoshoots and relaunching the picture desk.
